My first "Cartoon Universe: Future Tense" idea. In this set of ideas, I re-imagine cartoon series after the main season's story ends. I retconned the original ending of KND for this idea. What if Nigel (Numbuh 1) returned from the Galactic KND 2 years later and along with his old team formed the the sub-group of the KND - the Teens Next Door. Even as teens they fought against adult tyranny and aided the KND until they reached the ages of 21, where they disbanded and started their lives as adults.
The story starts with the original KNDs all grown up after being in the KND and the TND. The previous Sector V is now 30+ years old. Four of the members of the previous Sector V stayed true to the promise that they made at the end of KND: Op. I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S and remain kids at heart. However, Nigel starts to harbor hatred for kids and becomes an enemy against the new Sector V.
New Sector V:
1. Michael Mckenzie - "Numbuh 6" Son of Rachel Mckenzie, aka Numbuh 362. He is the sector leader and field officer of the New Sector V. Much like his mother he displays exceptional leadership skills in the battlefield. May be connected to Numbuh 1 in some way...
2. Cody Beatles - "Numbuh 7" Son of Wallabee Beatles and Kuki Beatles, aka Numbuhs 4 and 3. The hand to hand combat specialist and medical officer of Sector V. He displays a calm and upbeat look on things like his mother and a fierce intensity and expertise in combat like his father come the time his friends need help.
3. Eliza Strowd - "Numbuh 8" Daughter of Numbuh 19th Century and Numbuh 86. Second-in-command and tactical officer of Sector V. Unlike her mother, she displays a very kind, yet introverted nature especially when she's around boys. She wants to try putting an end to the conflicts between kids and adults forever.
4. JD Gilligan - "Numbuh 9" Son of Hoagie Gilligan and Abigail Gilligan, aka Numbuhs 2 and 5, and older brother of Numbuh 10. The diversionary tactics officer and spy of Sector V. Adopting his mother's cool and keen instinct, he is the most relaxed operative in the team. Aside from addressing himself in the 3rd person, he also makes use of special rollerblades when moving around.
5. Amy Lynn Gilligan - "Numbuh 10" Daughter of Numbuhs 2 and 5 and younger sister of Numbuh 9. The 2x4 Technology officer and pilot of Sector V. She inherited the smarts of her father, as well as his corny humor. More mature than her older brother, she tries to keep him in check. Invented various new 2x4 technologies used by the KND such as the soundpoddah technology and A.G. (Against Gravity) technology.
That's it. But these are just concepts so far. Any comments will be appreciated.
Disclaimer: I technically own half of these characters and of the idea. But I do not own the characters "Numbuh 1", "Numbuh 2", "Numbuh 3", "Numbuh 4", "Numbuh 5" and the cartoon show "Codename Kids Next Door". The latter belong to their creator Mr. Warburton and Cartoon Network.
Nigel as an enemy. That is a new idea. I notice you do not mention the father of Michael. There might be a Number 6 already, the skunk. But that scarcely counts
The teens look good. Most people portray Hoagie as thin, like in the one episode, but this is good. Abby looks a trifle too fashion-conscious, but then she is a girl now, and a teenager to boot.
Wally looks... sorta bored.

Actually the previous sector V are adults already. In their early 30's. I tried to make them as old as possible while still looking "youngish". Guess it kinda worked.

Yeah. It was very touching. That's kinda what made me hooked in KND. Unlike alot of cartoons (except Avatar, DP, American Dragon, KP, etc.) it has an ending and real character development.
