I'm back at DA, and am hoping to start uploading new things. I apologize if I was away for so long (massive understatement, my account was inactive for more than 2 years..). Though I can't really guarantee if I'll be super active again, at the very least I want to try my luck in improving my skills for my future. So anyhoo, I'll be uploading things every so often.. Yes, I submitted a new artwork again - after more than a year's hiatus. For all those who will take the time to read this (will there be any?) I guess I should explain why I was out of action for quite a while. It all started last year, my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. At the time, we tried staying optimistic and thought that he would be okay. It didn't turn out that way and he passed on in the latter part of last year. Needless to say, I had no motivation whatsoever to do any more artworks. My life and responsibilities took a complete 180 degree change. I just finished watching the anime "Clannad" and its sequel "Clannad After Story". Man, my eyes are sooooooooooooooooo tired from crying, what an emotional roller coaster. I recommend this anime to everyone interested. The first season focused more on comedy with romance and drama taking a back step. However, the latter two are umped a notch in the second season and from episodes 9 till the end (24)I practically cried in every episode. :( That's it, just wanted to let anyone reading this journal know.
